EXPIRIENCE VOLCANOS-CLOUD FOREST AND BEACH

7 NIGHTS AND 8 DAYS PACKAGE

This Package is great for first timers visiting Costa Rica that want to sample the diversity and see some of the most beautiful places in this piece of Paradise we called Costa Rica


Day 1

You will be met at the airport on arrival and driven to the exclusive Hotel Buena Vista just 10 minutes from the airport surrounded by coffee fields, with an amazing view of the central valley.  A great way to begin enjoying your vacation.




Day 2

After a delicious continental breakfast (included) and some of the best coffee you have ever tasted, your drive up to the Arenal volcano area will begin.  Your first stop is 45 minutes away at Poas Volcano national park(entrance fee not include) where you will be able to see the second largest crater in the world and exuberant rain forest with many types of local birds and butterflies.  After visiting this magic place you will start the drive towards La PAZ WATERFALL where you will be able to take pictures and experience this beautiful Waterfall.  By now you may feel a bit hungry, no worries the driver will stop for you to eat along the way then continue your trip to Arenal Volcano and your destination the Hotel Volcano lodge with beautiful views of the volcano and a nice restaurant.  Feel free to do relax and enjoy.

                

 

 

Day 3

Today’s activity can include a Horseback ride to La Fortuna Waterfall scheduled for 8:00AM.  Along the way you will enjoy the volcano views and country side then you can cool off in the Cristal waters, don’t forget your bathing suit. Afternoon we recommend a visit to the local hot springs or just relax in the Jacuzzi of the hotel.

 

 Day 4:

 Next stop is the Monteverde Cloud forest.  Your departure is scheduled for 8:30AM for your exciting taxi-boat-taxi transfer to the Monteverde area.  This is usually about a 3 hours trip, so you will get at your hotel, the Trapp Family Lodge right at lunch.  Get settled then you will be picked up in the afternoon to do a Canopy Tour, swing from tree to tree just like Tarzan but in a safe way of course and visit a beautiful Butterfly and Humming Bird Garden.

 

 

Day 5

 Beach Time! After seeing some of the most amazing locations in Costa Rica we take to the beach, next stop Playa Guiones, Nosara.  The drive will be about 3 ½ hours in a comfortable air-conditioned van.  Your departure will be at 10:00AM.  The drive out of Monteverde will offer some spectacular ocean views of the Gulf of Nicoya and finally arrive at Hotel Harbor Reef just a 3 minute walk to the beach.

 
Day 6

 Relax and enjoy the beauty of this place, located on Playa Guiones with its 2 ½ mile long white sand beach, Howler monkeys, great surf and unbelievable sun sets that will make you feel like never going home again and relaxed by massages provide by Tica massage.

 

Day 7

It’s time to start your journey home.  Back to San Jose, and the Hotel Buena Vista.  This time you will have a choice of taking a van or a local commuter flight to San Jose (this option is available depending on seat availability).   Spend the night close to the airport and get ready for your departure day. 

Day 8

 Departure day you will be picking up to be Transfer to the International Airport for the flight home.
