Buena Vista is a cattle raising Hacienda that changed part of its activity to dedicate itself to ecologic tourism in a rustic environment conserving the idiosyncrasy and culture of the zone.
Located only 31kms from Liberia and bordering the National Park Rincón de la Vieja. It has an area of approximately 2,000 acres, 1,400 of which are intended to regenerate the forest and were adventure activities take place, always protecting the environment. The remaining 600 acres are dedicated to cattle raising and the ranch produces the majority of the products that the Lodge consumes.

Horse back riding: visit the three waterfalls: the first one has sulfur pit inside the waterfall, the second one is a natural water slide inside the mountain that falls into small pond, and the last waterfall is the biggest one with a spectacular cascade. |

Trails: these are for all ages and they go through waterfalls, view points, plains, and primary forest and lots more. |

The Canopy: 11 platforms and 10 cables, gliding through the top of the trees of the semi-humid tropical forest enjoying the adrenaline to the maximum. While the visitor is traveling on the top of the trees it can enjoy a diversity of flora and fauna as birds and howler, spider, and, white faced capuchin monkeys.
The hanging bridges it is the best choice to enjoy the tranquillity of a primary forest with a maximum height of 20 meters, along this tour the visitor will find 16 bridges and it takes approximately one hour to walk through all of them.
Thermal waters: 5 rustic thermal pools that come from a spring of the Rincón de la Vieja Volcano; with different types of temperatures, sauna and volcanic mud in a primary forest. Located 3 kms from the hotel, the visitor can get there horse back riding and it takes 45 minutes, on a tractor it takes 25 minutes and it can enjoy the forest and its surroundings, and walking it takes 1 hour through trails and rivers. This place offers cafeteria service.
Three waterfalls: this is a tour through the forest and the diversity of flora and fauna. Three beautiful waterfalls, the first one is sulphurous, the second one forms a small slide of natural water and the visitors can swim in it, and the third one is the biggest one of them. This tour can be done horse back riding and it takes 31/2 hours or walking it takes 41/2 hours, but a good physical condition is required.
The water slide: Enjoy this totally refreshing experience with your family sliding down the longest mountain water slide; 400 meters of pure adventure and excitement in the middle of the Tropical Forest. This is done with all the necessary security equipment.

An exhibition of more than 20 different species of snakes is waiting for you in a place that resembles their natural environment. Our collection includes vipers, non-venomous snakes, coral snakes and snakes from the boa family.
Also the visitor can enjoy the amazing poison dart frogs, the tree frogs and, the glass frogs all in an environment naturally created for them.
We offer guided tours and a tour to feed the snakes; our visitors can take pictures with our pet boa snake named Lulu.
